Organisations Offering Information on Cults & New
Religious Movements
For many years, the Deo Gloria Trust helped those involved
with cults, or new religious movements, and their families. This work largely
consisted of handling phone-calls and letters, giving advice, and where
appropriate linking the enquirer with someone who could give specialist help,
either a counsellor or an ex-member of the group. It also involved fielding
enquiries from students and the media, and maintaining an archive of relevant
information.
The Trustees were anxious not to sever links with this vital
ministry altogether, and we therefore agreed to provide financial support to
DialogCentre
UK with whom we have had a close relationship for many years. The
DialogCentre UK has now been registered as a charitable trust. We are
particularly pleased that a strong link will continue between ourselves and the
DialogCentre.
